EA minded to award environmental permit for Holmwood exploration well
Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc, the UK and Ireland focused exploration, development and production company, is pleased to note a draft decision advertisement issued by the Environment Agency on 15 February (http://bit.ly/2C3rPDh) that it is inclined to award a bespoke environmental permit for drilling and testing the Holmwood exploration well in PEDL 143 at Bury Hill Wood, Coldharbour Lane, Surrey. Hugh Mackay CEO said "We are pleased to have reached this important stage in the environmental permitting process. Whilst we are still in the determination process and a final decision has not been made, it is nonetheless positive that the Environmental Agency is inclined to approve.
