Empyrean Energy PLC21 February 2007 Empyrean Energy PLC ("Empyrean" or the "Company"; Ticker: (EME)) Sugarloaf-1 Well, Texas USA --------------------------- This announcement amends the Sugarloaf Well Testing Update announcement submitted to RNS on 21 February 2007 at 9:15am with RNS number 6033R. The need for amendment arose as the original announcement contained two minor typographical inaccuracies. AIM quoted Empyrean Energy PLC today announces that the first part of thetesting program over the lower Hosston interval has been completed byperforating several zones. As per the program design, these zones were notfracture stimulated and no flow of gas was recorded. These zones were notfracture stimulated as they were interpreted to have poorer reservoirdevelopment than some of the zones in the upper Hosston sands - however theywere perforated to make certain that they were not productive. As envisaged in the original testing program, the next stage will involve theperforation and fracture stimulation of selected intervals of the upper Hosstonsands which are interpreted to have better potential reservoir development ascompared to the lower Hosston intervals. The fraccing program is currentlyscheduled to commence in early March. Further releases in relation to the Sugarloaf-1 testing program will be madeupon any material developments and results from these tests.
