Sugarloaf-1 Well---------------- Empyrean has been advised that fracture stimulation and testing operations atthe Sugarloaf-1 well, located in the onshore Gulf Coast Basin in Texas, USA,commenced on 11 September 2007, Texas time. As previously advised, there are up to three separate zones that will befracture stimulated and tested sequentially as part of this program inCretaceous aged carbonates of the Austin Chalk formation, with the deepest zonebeing tested first. Further announcements will be made as results from this test become available. Proposed Kennedy #1H Well------------------------- Empyrean was also advised that the rig to drill the Kennedy #1H well isscheduled to mobilize to the well site this week.
