Ei Group plc - Share Repurchase Programme
Ei Group plc (the "Company") announces that pursuant to the share repurchase programme carried out by Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, which was originally announced by the Company on 15 March 2019 at £35 million and then subsequently increased by £30 million to a total of £65 million on 14 May 2019, the Company has now bought back a total of 18,310,102 ordinary shares for cancellation at a cost of £38.3 million and, as referred to in the announcement issued by the Company earlier today, the programme has been suspended.
