ELECTROCOMPONENTS PLC ('the Company')

The Company was notified on 12 January 2015 that 6,671 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company were acquired on 9 January 2015 for Simon Boddie, Group Finance Director, under the Company's Dividend Re-investment Plan.

The shares were acquired at a price of 215.98p. 

Mr Boddie now holds 297,745 shares in the Company, which represent less than 0.1% of the Company's issued share capital.

The Company was notified of this transaction in accordance with FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.2 R.
