AGM trading statement 

At today's Annual General Meeting, Michael Higgins, the non-executive Chairman of Thomson Intermedia plc (AIM: THN) will make the following statement:

"The Group continues to make good progress, with trading in line with expectations. Interim results for the six months to 31 October 2008 will be announced in January 2009 and will reflect the significant planned investment made on a number of projects in the first half of the year where the benefit is expected to be reflected in the second half. The Board believe that the Group is on track for the year to date, and anticipate that this progress will continue."
