European Assets Trust PLC ("the Company") announces that as part of an orderly succession plan, Monica Tepes has today been appointed to the Board and its committees.

Monica has twenty years of experience in the funds sector and is currently a non-executive director of Golden Prospect Precious Metals Limited.

From 2017 to 2023 she was a director at finnCap Capital Markets Limited (currently Cavendish Capital Markets Limited), where she cofounded and developed the Investment Companies team.

Monica was Head of Investment Companies Research at Cantor Fitzgerald Europe and a no.1 Extel rated alternatives funds analyst. Monica began her career as a funds analyst at Killik & Co Wealth Managers.

Monica is a member of the AIC Statistics Committee, is a CFA charterholder and has a degree in Finance, Insurance, Banks and Capital Markets from the Academy of Economic Studies Bucharest.
