e2v secures contract renewal
e2v technologies, a specialist developer and manufacturer of high technology components and sub-systems, announces it has won a contract renewal worth £4.1m.
The contract renewal is with Alphatron Electronic Parts, headquartered in Holland and with further worldwide facilities, and is for the supply of products from e2v's electron device and sub-systems (EDS) division to support Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and replacement requirements for commercial radar systems.
Delivery is scheduled over a 12 month period.
Keith Attwood, Chief Executive of e2v, commented: "The EDS business model is characterised by a large proportion of spares business, relative to OEM requirements for new systems. This contract renewal reflects the continued need and opportunity to support the large in-service field population of systems with high quality, replacement product. Further contract renewals for the radiotherapy market will be announced in the coming weeks, underpinning e2v's future performance."
