Application for Admission of Shares

Dixons Retail plc (the "Company"), one of Europe's leading specialist multichannel electrical retail and services companies, announces that a block listing application has been made for 40,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 2.5 pence each in the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.

These shares will be allotted in accordance with the rules of the Company's Performance Share Plan 2008 and will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares of the Company.
