Non-Executive Director standing down

Drax announces that Vanessa Simms, a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee has advised of her intention to step down on 18 June 2024, after six years and coinciding with the end of her second, three-year term of appointment.

Vanessa has confirmed her willingness to stand for re-election at the Company's Annual General Meeting being held on 25 April 2024, to support an orderly transition whilst a search for her replacement takes place. The Board unanimously supports the resolution for Vanessa's re-appointment.

During her tenure at Drax, Vanessa has made a significant contribution, combining her detailed knowledge with thoughtful guidance in supporting Drax as we have grown."
