Driver Group plc25 August 2006 DRIVER GROUP PLCDRV.L 25 August 2006 DRIVER GROUP PLC ("Driver" or "the Group") Board Appointment The Board of Driver, a leading provider of specialist commercial and disputeresolution services to the construction industry, is pleased to announce theappointment of a new Non-executive Director, Keith Kirkwood, with effect from1st October 2006. Mr Kirkwood replaces David Clements who will step down fromhis role as a Non-executive Director on 30th September 2006. Keith Kirkwood, aged 50, is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 30 years'experience in both the general construction industry and in the specialist areaof dispute resolution. Until recently Keith was Group Chief Executive ofSchofield Lothian Group, the construction, engineering and infrastructuremanagement consultancy which he founded in 1986. Under his leadership, thebusiness was successfully developed into an international operation and sold toAccord plc in 2002. Keith is a qualified mediator, arbitrator and negotiator and a Fellow of theRoyal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Arbitratorsand the Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors, as well as a Member of theInstitute of Highways and Transportation, the Society of Construction Law andthe Institute of Directors. Chief Executive of the Group, Steve Driver, commenting on the Board changes,said, "I am delighted to welcome Keith to the Board as a Non-executive Director.
