DQE & Turner Ink Third Exclusive Content Deal 'Omkar',
a TV Feature For India
'Omkar' to exclusively premier on Turner's kids' Networks in India in 2010
DQE, the AIM-London listed, India based animation, gaming and entertainment company, signed its third successive acquisition deal with Turner, for its kids' networks in India, for DQE's latest Indian mythological TV feature titled 'Omkar'. The earlier two DQE TV Feature titles acquired by Turner for the Indian region include, 'Balkand' and 'Ravan'. This latest strategic acquisition is yet another indication of Turner's consistent commitment to invest and promote bespoke productions and augment its robust Indian animation library by taking the tally of Turner's locally acquired animations to over 30!

Titled 'Omkar', the animation features created and produced by DQE will premiere on Turner India's leading kids' channels India in 2010. DQE holds exclusive rights for home video, publishing and global Audio visual rights other than Turner's exclusive territory."

'Omkar' revolves around inspiring and edutaining tales of Lord Shiva and his family comprising of Goddess Parvati, their two sons, Kartikeya, known as the general of the army of the gods and the adorable and revered Ganesha, the benign elephant headed deity of good fortune.
