DAIRY FARM INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS LIMITED Interim Management Statement 7th May 2008 - Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited has today issued anInterim Management Statement covering the period from 1st January to 6th May2008 in accordance with the requirements of the Disclosure and TransparencyRules issued by the Financial Services Authority of the United Kingdom. During the period under review, Dairy Farm's major businesses have performedwell and the Company's cash flow remains strong. The Group's North Asian operations are continuing to trade well with the HongKong retail activities showing improved results and the Taiwan businessestrending positively. In Singapore, all formats are showing improvement, whilethe retail businesses in Malaysia are producing enhanced sales and profits asthe expansion in store numbers continues. The Indian joint ventures are,however, being affected by increasing costs and competition. In Indonesia, PTHero is achieving better results. The Group's trading prospects for the year remain positive despite the moreuncertain economic outlook. Dairy Farm is a leading pan-Asian retailer.
