Diamondcorp Plc08 April 2008 DiamondCorp plc ("DiamondCorp" or "the Company") Senior Management Appointments 8 April 2008 DiamondCorp plc (the "Company") (JSE: DMC, AIM: DCP) has strengthened its coremanagement team with two senior appointments. Mr Steve West has been appointed to the position of Head of Business Developmentand Mr Paul Sharples has been appointed to the position of Head of Mining. Bothpositions will be based at the Company's Lace Mine near Kroonstad in the FreeState province of South Africa. Both appointees will be members of DiamondCorp's Executive Committee ("ExCo")and report to the Company's CEO, Mr Paul Loudon. Mr West is a mechanical engineer with more than 30 years experience in themining industry, predominantly in diamonds. He commenced his career with DeBeers Consolidated Mines in Kimberley and held a number of senior positions withthe Trans Hex Group Limited, including Group Marine Manager and Group ProjectManager. Prior to joining DiamondCorp, Mr West was Mine Manager of Gem DiamondsLimited's Cempaka diamond mine in Indonesia. Mr Sharples is a chartered mining engineer with more than 30 years experience inthe mining industry. He commenced his career with Anglo American Corporation inWelkom and has held senior operational and consulting positions for a range ofmining companies and mineral consulting firms, including Gencor Billiton, Murray& Roberts, Bateman Engineering and Mintek. He has been involved in thedevelopment and management of significant underground and opencast gold anddiamond operations in South Africa, Brazil, DRC and Namibia. Mr Sharples iscurrently General Manager of the Lace Diamond Mine. DiamondCorp CEO, Paul Loudon said: "The appointments come ahead of the nextphase of growth for DiamondCorp.
