Result of General Meeting
DiamondCorp, the Southern African diamond mining, development and exploration company, announces that, at the General Meeting held earlier today, all the Resolutions to approve, inter alia, the Placing of the Second Tranche Placing Shares, details of which were set out in the notice of General Meeting included in the circular dated 21 December 2015 (the "Circular"), were passed by the requisite majority of votes cast.
Application has been made for the 34,329,667 Second Tranche Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange plc and the Alternative Exchange of the JSE Limited. Settlement for and Admission of the Second Tranche Placing Shares is expected to take place on AIM on 8 January 2016 and to Alt-X on or about 12 January 2016.
DiamondCorp's enlarged issued ordinary share capital immediately following the issue of the Second Tranche Placing Shares will be 445,406,247 Ordinary Shares.
