Dolphin Capital Investors Limited (the "Company")Β announces thatΒ onΒ 18Β SeptemberΒ 2008Β it purchasedΒ 3,000,000Β of itsΒ common shares at anΒ averageΒ price per shareΒ ofΒ 88p.Β

Following the above purchase, theΒ CompanyΒ holdsΒ 54,440,000Β of its common shares in treasury and hasΒ 494,596,141Β common shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The purchase was made from Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited pursuant to a pre-set mandate to buy shares in the market during the close period prior to release of the Company's interim results for the six month period ended 30 June 2008. These arrangements are in accordance with the Company's general authority to repurchase shares.
