Mr Cormac McCarthy
DCC plc announces with great regret that Mr Cormac McCarthy, a non-executive Director of the Company since May 2016, recently passed away. The Board and management of DCC extend their deepest sympathies to Mr McCarthy's family.
Ms Jane Lodge, who was due to retire from the Board at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting on Friday, 16 July 2021, will now continue as a non-executive Director and as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
John Moloney, Chairman of DCC said:
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague Cormac McCarthy. He brought great insight, generosity and experience to his role as Director. His wise counsel and friendship will be sadly missed by all at DCC."
