Update on Suspension

Daniel Stewart Securities plc (AIM:DAN), the investment boutique providing corporate advisory, institutional stockbroking and wealth management services, gives the following update on suspension to trading of its shares on the AIM market.

Beaumont Cornish Limited resigned as the Company's Nominated Adviser ("Nomad") on 21 December 2015. Under the rules of AiM the Company's shares are automatically delisted if a replacement Nomad is not appointed within 30 days. Despite it's best efforts, the Company has so far been unable to secure such an appointment.

 The Company's largest shareholders remain very committed to their long term support and the Company has significant working capital headroom in place.

However, should the shares of the Company become delisted from AiM the Board will examine alternative mechanism's to facilitate trading in the Company's shares , including a potential future relisting. Full details would be circulated as soon as possible.

Peter Shea, Chief Executive commented: "Although the decision has been somewhat taken out of our hands, becoming an unquoted company will give us time to put in place the right operational and financial structures while we determine the optimal listing status.

We continue to strengthen our business generation team to pursue a broader range of mandates and our pipeline is already growing. Our core areas of expertise have now expanded to include US markets, e-payments, resources, gaming and healthcare.

Having recently canvassed current and prospective clients on their goals in increasingly uncertain global markets we have successfully launched our DAN-Trade equity product aimed at private clients. We have also entered into a partnership with a leading firm of advisers to High Net Worth Individuals relocating into the UK.
