China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. Announcement on Electricity Generation in Q2 of 2022
The board of directors and all directors of China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (the "Company") warrant that there are no false representations and misleading statements contained in, or material omissions from, this announcement, and severally and jointly accept the responsibility for the truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of the contents of this announcement.
According to the preliminary statistics of the Company, as of 30th June, 2022 the total water inflow at the Xiluodu Reservoir reached approximately 50,970 million cubic metres, representing a year-on-year increase of 74.43%, while the total water inflow at the Three Gorges Reservoir reached approximately 177,279 million cubic metres, representing a year-on-year increase of 27.47%.
The gross electricity generation of the Company's cascade hydropower projects was approximately 61,070GWh in Q2 of 2022, representing a year-on-year increase of 53.46%. Among them, the Three Gorges Project generated 29,717GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 33.32%; Gezhouba Project generated 5,684GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.02%; Xiluodu Project generated 16,741GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 123.24%; and Xiangjiaba Project generated 8,927GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of 81.04%.
The electricity generation of each of the Company's domestic hydropower projects in Q2 of 2022 is as follows:
