Director Shareholdings

Further to its announcement regarding the appointment of John Cronin on 21 March 2012, the Company is pleased to announce that Mr Cronin has purchased a total of 2,368,421 ordinary shares at a price of 0.39 pence per share. In addition to this purchase, and in accordance with his appointment letter, the Company has issued 2,526,316 shares to Mr Cronin. This includes 157,895 shares issued as part of the monthly directors share plan announced in the Company's circular dated 1 September 2010, based on the closing share price on 2 April 2012 of 0.38 pence per share.

This brings John Cronin's interest in the Company's current issued share capital to 4,894,737, being 0.30% of current issued share capital.

In addition, the Company has been informed that Dr John Read has purchased a further 1,246,070 ordinary shares at a price of 0.38 pence per share. Following this transaction Dr Read has an interest in 17,730,466 ordinary shares representing 1.07% of the Company's current issued share capital.
