This initial shipment of 17,500microcontrollers from an order for 100,000 units to be delivered by the end ofJune 2006 is the first volume shipment made by the company and is in line withthe timetable reported to shareholders at the time of the preliminary resultsannouncement. Our customer is manufacturing government tax control POSterminals, a market which is estimated to require in excess of 30 million unitsin China. The softwaremakes chip integration into customers' products vastly more simple, quick,reliable and hence less expensive while dramatically reducing development time.Cyan created CyanIDE(R) to avoid relying on standard tools from third partysuppliers.
