Board Changes and Notice of Trading Update

CVS Group plc, one of the UK's leading providers of integrated veterinary services, announces that Richard Fairman, FCA, has been appointed as Group Finance Director with effect from 1 August 2018.

Richard spent six and a half years at the RAC Group, including as CFO since 2016. Prior to this, Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young, later working at PricewaterhouseCoopers, following which Richard held roles including Finance Director of Virgin Money, CFO of Central Trust and Finance Director of Virgin Money Giving.

Simon Innes, CEO of CVS Group plc, said: "On behalf of the Board, I am pleased to welcome Richard as our new Group Finance Director. His wealth of experience in multi-site, consumer-facing, acquisitive organisations will bring significant benefit to the Group and we look forward to working with him going forward.

"I would also like to thank to Nick Perrin for his invaluable contribution to the Company over the past five and a half years. Nick will be stepping down from the Board on 31 October 2018, following a handover period and completion of the FY2018 audit. Nick has played an important part in driving the business forward and we wish him well in the future."

The Company also confirms it will be announcing a trading update in respect of the financial year ended 30 June 2018 during the week commencing 30 July 2018.
