Grant of Option

Conviviality Retail Plc (AIM: CVR), the UK's largest franchised off-licence chain, which listed on AIM on 31 July 2013, announces that an option over 101,604 Ordinary Shares of 0.02 pence each has today been granted under the Company's Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP) to Kenton Burchell, who joins the Company as Commercial Director and the Board today.

The exercise price of the option granted is 187per Ordinary Share. EBITDA linked performance criteria and a three year service condition must be met in order for the option to become exercisable. The option can be exercised (subject to performance conditions being met) for a period of 10 years from 3 March 2014.

Following this grant, Kenton Burchell holds an option over 101,604 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.15% of the Company's issued share capital.
