Issue of £250,000,000 2.000 per cent. Senior Non-Preferred Notes due 2030

under the £5,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme

Coventry Building Society announces the issue of £250,000,000 2.000 per cent. Senior Non-Preferred Notes due 20 December 2030 (the Notes) under its £5,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme. The Notes, which are rated Baa1 by Moody's Investors Services Limited and A- by Fitch Ratings Limited, have been listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. The proceeds of the issue of Notes will be used for general corporate purposes.
