Appointment of Interim Group Chief Financial Officer

Charles Taylor plc (LSE: CTR), a leading international provider of professional services to clients in the global insurance market, announces the appointment of Tito Soso as Interim Group Chief Financial Officer in succession to George Fitzsimons, Group Finance Director. As previously announced, George will be stepping down as an Executive Director and as Group Finance Director of the Company on 31st October 2012. To ensure a smooth handover, Tito joins the Group on 1st October.

The company is progressing the search for a permanent Group Chief Financial Officer and a further announcement will be made in due course. In the meantime, Tito will assume all the responsibilities of the position after George's departure.

Tito Soso, aged 45, was most recently a Managing Director in Investcorp's European Investment team where he was responsible for leading private equity transactions across Europe. In this role he held non-executive director and acting CFO positions in a variety of portfolio companies. Prior to joining Investcorp, he was a member of the Corporate Finance practice of McKinsey, advising financial investors and corporate clients on strategic and operational matters as well as due diligence processes. Previously, he spent eight years with the Schindler Group where he held various positions, including finance director in the U.K. and in Eastern Europe.
