Non-Executive Director Appointment

ConvaTec Group PLC ("ConvaTec" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly ("Kim") Lody as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 February 2022. Kim will join ConvaTec's Nomination and Remuneration committees on the same date.

Since 2019, Kim has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonida Senior Living Corporation, one of the USA's largest owner-operators of senior housing communities. Kim has an extensive background in international, multi-cultural environments with more than 25 years of healthcare experience including alternate site healthcare services, durable medical equipment and medical devices.

From 2011-2019, Kim served firstly as President of Resound and then as SVP and President of GN Hearing, both of which are medical device divisions of the GN Group. From 2009 - 2011, Kim was Vice President of Marketing and then President of Chronic Care for the U.S. subsidiary of Coloplast. From 2004-2009, Kim was an independent consultant to the healthcare sector. Her earlier career included serving as COO of Senior Home Care; CMO of Gentiva Health Services; and VP of Managed Care Programs for Apria Healthcare.

Kim holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hiram College in Ohio and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Wake Forest University, North Carolina.
