Director/PDMR shareholding

Consort Medical plc announces that the undermentioned directors and other persons discharging managerial responsibilities, ('PDMRs'), have received shares under the terms of the Consort Medical plc Long Term Incentive Plan ('LTIP').

The shares vested on 1 August 2014 for nil consideration pursuant to an Award made on 1 August 2011 and were exercised by the individuals on 24 October 2014. The exercise period for the Award was extended to 40 days following the announcement of the proposed acquisition of Aesica Holdco Limited and the Rights Issue. This was due to the original exercise period having commenced in a close period.

The exercise of the options was satisfied out of the ordinary shares held in the Consort Medical plc Employee Share Ownership Trust.

The disposals referred to below were made on 24 October 2014 at £6.7975 per share and all of which were sold to cover tax liabilities.

** The total shares held is before the completion of the Rights Issue.
