Cropper(James) PLC04 April 2008 James Cropper Plc 4 April 2008 James Cropper Plc (the 'Company') Director's Shareholdings The Company announces that it received notification on 31 March 2008 that on 25March 2008 CGA Trustee & Executor Co Ltd for which Mr J.A. Cropper(Non-Executive Chairman) is a non-beneficial trustee transferred a total of94,000 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company to a member of his family (thebeneficial holder of the shares) for no consideration. On 31 March 2008 the Company also received notification that on 14 March 2008Rock (Nominees) Ltd 2500130 for which Mr J.A. Cropper is a non-beneficialtrustee transferred its entire holding of 10,000 ordinary shares of 25p each inthe Company to the same member of the family (the beneficial holder of theshares) for no consideration. Following this notification Mr J.A.
