COPPER RESOURCES CORPORATION PRIVATE PLACING - CLARIFICATION

Copper Resources Corporation (AIM: CRC) ("the Company") would like to clarify that the placing of 45,000,000 new common shares, as announced on 15th November, was approved by the independent directors of the Company on the basis that the remaining directors representing the Forrest Group were conflicted. However, the Forrest Group directors have challenged the validity of the placing; and as a result a full Board meeting has been convened to be held on Monday 19th November to determine whether the placing was appropriately approved and whether it should proceed.

The Company will make a further announcement on that date.
