APPOINTMENT OF CFO

CPPGroup plc (CPP or the Group), the international assistance business, is pleased to announce that Oliver Laird has agreed to join the Group as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of the Group, with effect from 5 June 2017, subject to regulatory approval.

A Fellow of the Institute of Management Accountants, Oliver has more than 10 years' experience in senior finance roles in regulated financial services businesses, most recently as CFO of First Direct Bank. He is also a Non-Executive Board Member of The British Council and a Non-Executive Trustee of the Leeds University Union.

Chairman, Sir Richard Lapthorne, commented:
