COMPASS GROUP PLC
NOTIFICATION AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF TRANSACTIONS BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED WITH THEM
Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") in ordinary shares of 11 1/20 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").
On 25 November 2020, Mrs Serrie Meakins, a person closely associated with Mr Ian Meakins, a non-executive director of the Company and Chairman-elect, purchased 58,362 shares at £14.065 each per Share.
Following this transaction, Mr Meakins' total interests in 58,362 Shares represents 0.0033% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).
Also, on 25 November 2020, Mr David Parry, a person closely associated with Ms Alison Yapp, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary and a PDMR of the Company, purchased 2,832 shares at £14.0158 each per Share.
Following this transaction, Alison Yapp's total interests in 5,271 Shares represents 0.0003% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).
The following notifications have been made to the Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation in respect of the above:
