MARKET PURCHASE BY PERSON DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY ("PDMR")
On 24 September 2018 Alex Vaughan, chief executive officer, was granted an option over 1,396 shares (as adjusted for the capital raising completed May 2020) under the Costain Group PLC Sharesave Plan. At maturity on 1 November 2021, Mr Vaughan elected to purchase shares in the market with the proceeds of his three-year savings contract as part of a share purchase programme offered to all participants with maturing options in the 2018 Sharesave Plan. This arrangement was made available as the option price to subscribe for shares for the 2018 Sharesave Plan was £3.169 per share (as adjusted for the capital raising).
Accordingly, the Company announces that Alex Vaughan purchased 8,093 shares on 1 November 2021 at a price of £0.539 per share. Following the purchase, Mr Vaughan has a shareholding of 247,705 shares in Costain Group PLC.
