Directorate change
Costain announces that, after eight years of service on the Board, Alison Wood, non-executive director, will step down on 28 January 2022.
From today, Tony Quinlan, audit committee chair, will additionally become the Company's senior independent director and Jacqueline de Rojas will become remuneration committee chair on an interim basis. A search for an additional non-executive director, expected to become remuneration committee chair on appointment, is underway and we will update the market in due course.
Dr Paul Golby CBE, chair, said:
"I would like to thank Alison for her eight years of dedicated service to Costain, during which time she has made a significant contribution to the Board. We have hugely appreciated her insight and wish her well in her future endeavours."
