SAINT-GOBAIN DIVESTS ITS GLASS PROCESSING BUSINESS IN ESTONIA

Saint-Gobain has entered into an agreement for the sale of its regional glass processing business Baltiklaas OΓ in Estonia to Polar Glass OΓ, a subsidiary of Barrus AS, the largest glued laminated timber manufacturer in Estonia and supplier to window and door producers. Baltiklaas OΓ employs more than 200 people across two sites, located in Tartu and MΓ€o, with sales of around β¬25 million in 2021.

This transaction follows a number of other divestments in glass processing by the Group since 2018 in Europe with total sales of around β¬300 million divested.

This transaction is part of Saint-Gobain's continued business profile optimization strategy, in line with the "Grow & Impact" plan objectives. It is subject to the approval of the relevant competition authorities and should be finalized in the coming weeks.
