SAINT-GOBAIN COMPLETES THE SALE OF ITS DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITY IN GERMANY 

Saint-Gobain today announces the completion of the sale of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland (SGBDD) to the Stark Group.

In 2018 SGBDD generated revenues of €1,924 million and operating income of €21 million; the divestment is based on an enterprise value of €335 million. The finalization of this transaction follows the approval of the European competition authority received on September 6, 2019.

The completion of this transaction marks an important milestone in the execution of Saint-Gobain's portfolio optimization strategy: with over €3 billion in sales completed or signed as of today, the objective announced for the end of 2019 has already been reached.
