TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SHARES

Capricorn Energy PLC (the "Company") announces that, on 22 February 2024, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 735/143 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") through Merrill Lynch International ("BofA Securities"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the share repurchase arrangements entered into with BofA Securities, as announced on 4 May 2023.

Aggregated information of Ordinary Shares purchased on 22 February 2024 according to each trading venue:

Since 4 May 2023, the Company has purchased 6,295,615 Ordinary Shares for cancellation at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £15,731,510.67.

Following the cancellation of the purchased shares, there will be 92,727,155 Ordinary Shares in issue. The total voting rights in the Company will accordingly be 92,727,155. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
