Calyx Group PLC27 July 2006 For immediate release 27 July 2006 Calyx Group PLC ("Calyx" or "the Company") Appointment of Chief Financial Officer Calyx, the largest single-source provider of information and communicationtechnology ("ICT") network solutions throughout Ireland, and who recentlyannounced the acquisition of the Matrix Companies for up to £40.5 million, istoday pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Lewis Jenkins ("Peter") asChief Financial Officer ("CFO") and main board director of the Company. Thisappointment will be effective from 21 August 2006. Peter (48) co-founded Numerica Group plc as Group Finance Director in 2001 andwas Chief Executive Officer from March 2004 to June 2005, at which time thegroup was acquired by Vantis plc. Prior to joining Calyx Peter has been InterimChief Financial Officer of Fujin Technology plc (formerly known as MatrixCommunications Group plc) He is currently a director of Demyst Limited and was adirector of VoxIQ Limited. Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and following seven yearsworking in accountancy firms (Neville Russell and Coopers & Lybrand) he movedinto industry and commerce. He has held senior financial positions at LexService plc, Coca-Cola & Schweppes Beverages Ltd and Harrisons & Crosfield plc.He was also Group Finance Director of Regus plc from 1998 - 2000. Peter has been a Council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants inEngland and Wales since 2003 and he was a member of its Audit Committee from2003 to 2005. He also holds a degree in Economics and Statistics fromSouthampton University.
