Following recent FSA clarification related to disclosure obligations in respect of the grant of security over shares by a director, Persian Gold PLC ("the Company") announces that it has received notification that John Teeling, Chairman of the Company, has pledged 11,675,400 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 15.64% of the Company's issued Shares, as security against personal borrowings.
