The following amendment has been made to the "Transaction in own shares" announcement released on 25 February 2013 at 07.00 under RNS number 5375Y.

The issued share capital figure should read 56,439,589 not 56,439,499.

All other details remain unchanged.

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 22 February 2013 it purchased 65,272 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 1773.21 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase of shares, Caledonia's issued share capital includes 56,439,589 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights.
