Director/PDMR Shareholding Notification

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") has been notified pursuant to DTR 3.1.2R of the following transaction by The Cayzer Family Archive, a connected person of one of Caledonia's directors, James Loudon.

On 18 July 2012, The Cayzer Family Archive, a private company with charitable status, of which Mr Loudon is one of its three members, purchased 175 Caledonia ordinary shares, representing 0.0003% of Caledonia's total issued ordinary share capital, at a price of 1442.5p per share.

All of the Caledonia shares purchased by The Cayzer Family Archive were acquired from within the Cayzer family concert party and are registered in the name of Caytrust Finance Company Limited.

Mr Loudon's total interests in Caledonia's ordinary shares following the above transaction are as follows:

Beneficial - 13,739 shares * = 0.02%

Non-beneficial - 9,930 shares = 0.02%

* includes 497 shares held by The Cayzer Family Archive.
