Board and committee changes

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Fitzalan Howard as an independent non-executive director with effect from 22 July 2019.

After graduating from Oxford University, Claire began her career at Kleinwort Benson, where she worked from 1982 to 1987. She subsequently joined Gauntlet Insurance Services, a privately-owned insurance broking company specialising in high net worth clients, where she had an executive role until 1996 and has served as a non-executive director since 2004. She is a trustee of a number of charitable foundations and trusts, including the Schroder Foundation, and serves as a director of the Schroder Charity Trust and of the Stansted Park Foundation.

Claire will also join the Company's Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Caledonia also announces that, having served nine years on the board, Charles Gregson has decided not to seek re-election at the annual general meeting to be held on 24 July 2019. Charles will retire from the board following the annual general meeting, at which point Guy Davison will take over as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Governance Committee and Shonaid Jemmett-Page will become Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
