CAPITAL LEASE AVIATION PLC

("CLA" or the "Company")

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Capital Lease Aviation PLC, the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company, announces that it has acquired through the market 290,397 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") as a result of purchases made on 3 and 4 November 2014 at a price of 20.5 pence per Ordinary Share representing approximately 0.30 per cent of the Company's current issued share capital. These 290,397 Ordinary Shares are to be held in treasury.

For the purposes of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, following the share purchase by the Company, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue as at the date of this notice is 97,899,172, with 1,290,397 Ordinary Shares held in treasury.

Therefore the figure of 96,608,775 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
