Share repurchase

Elektron, the AIM quoted components group, announces that on 18 June 2008 the Company acquired 500,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an average price of 14.07p per Ordinary Share through the market.

Following this transaction, the repurchased Ordinary Shares will be cancelled from trading on AIM. Accordingly, the reduced issued share capital admitted to trading to AIM will amount to 85,576,003 Ordinary Shares.
