Issue of Scrip Dividend Shares

Elektron announces that, in aggregate, 81,959 ordinary shares will be issued to those holders in the Company who have elected to receive new shares in lieu of cash in respect of the interim dividend for the half-year ended 31 July 2011.

An interim dividend of 0.27p per ordinary share was declared on 15 September 2011. 81,959 ordinary shares will be issued increasing the total number of ordinary shares in the Company with voting rights to 106,603,987. Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange and the new shares are expected to be admitted to trading on 14 December 2011.
