Elektron Technology plc (the "Company") was notified on 19 September 2011 by Downing LLP that, following a recent purchase of ordinary shares in the Company by the PFS Downing Active Management Fund, it now holds a total of 3,267,165 ordinary shares in the Company. This holding comprises 2,816,795 shares held by Downing Distribution VCT 2 plc and 450,370 shares held by PFS Downing Active Management Fund. This holding represents approximately 3.07% of the total voting rights in the Company.
