Court case judgment regarding contingent liabilities

Clarksons, the world's leading integrated shipping services group, announces that the claims brought by various parties against Clarksons totalling US$20.7m, as detailed in note 11 "Contingencies" within the 2010 interim financial statements, have today been rejected by the High Court in London.

Clarksons therefore no longer has these contingent liabilities. The cases remain subject to appeal.
