Cape PLC19 March 2008 19 March 2008 Cape PLC ("Cape", the "Group" or the "Company") Directorate Change As part of our continuing efforts to build on our success and deliver theblueprint for change, Cape (AIM: CIU), is pleased to announce the followingappointments: Non-Executive Chairman Cape is undergoing dynamic change and the demands on the Board are growing.David McManus, our Chairman has concluded with some regret he cannot devotesufficient time to his role as Chairman due to growing work commitmentselsewhere. Accordingly, he intends to step down as Chairman at the conclusion ofthe 2008 Annual General Meeting. I am delighted to confirm however that with theunanimous approval of the Board, Sean O'Connor has agreed to becomeNon-Executive Chairman in his place. Sean brings to the job not only a wealth ofexperience in business and the City, but also an extensive knowledge of Cape. Iam also pleased to confirm that David McManus will be remaining on the Board asa Non-Executive Director. Group Company Secretary Jeremy Rhodes is appointed Group Company Secretary of Cape PLC. Jeremy has actedas Company Secretary for a number of fully quoted and AIM listed companies, andmost recently acted as interim advisor on the AIM listing of the Dubai based oilservices company, Lamprell plc. Jeremy commenced his role on 18 March 2008 andwill be based at Cape's new plc HQ at Stockley Park, Middlesex, UK. Executive Director- Australia Steve Murdoch is appointed Executive Director responsible for Cape's businessesin Australia and will commence on 1 May 2008 based in Perth. He joins Capefollowing a very successful career at Austal, an Australian based and listedcompany with operations in Australia and US, where he was COO. A metallurgist bytraining and originally from Queensland, Steve brings a wealth of experience toCape having worked in various senior technical and management positions in theresources and steel manufacturing industries in Australia. Steve's appointment further strengthens Cape's senior management and leadershipcapability and underlines our commitment to fully establish Australia as keyregion in our already significant international footprint.
