Cape PLC15 August 2006 Cape PLC ("Cape" or the "Company") Contract Cape PLC (AIM:CIU) the international provider of essential support services forthe energy sector, is pleased to announce a significant new contract win by itssole operating subsidiary Cape Industrial Services Limited ('CIS'), with anestimated overall value of £78 million over a ten year period. This ten year contract with Scottish Power Generation Limited will be managed byCIS's regional office at Linlithgow and is to provide shared services includingscaffolding, access, insulation, asbestos management, industrial cleaning andsurface preparation to the principal power generating stations at Longannet andCockenzie located on the river Forth in Scotland. The contract was secured against competition from other national services providers and after intensive negotiations begun in August 2005. CIS is proud tojoin Mitsui Babcock, Weir, Norec, and Alstom as the selected contractors to support Scottish Power.
