BCB HOLDINGS LIMITED ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
Belize City,Β BelizeΒ July 1,Β 2009 - BCB Holdings Limited (LondonΒ - AIM: BCB)Β (the "Company") announces that WendellΒ MottleyΒ (Age 68)Β has been appointed as aΒ Non-ExecutiveΒ Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr. Mottley is a citizen ofΒ Trinidad and Tobago, and holds a degree in economics fromΒ YaleΒ UniversityΒ and a Masters in Economics fromΒ CambridgeΒ University.Β Mr. Mottley joined the governmentΒ service inΒ TrinidadΒ in 1981.Β During his tenure, heΒ served as Minister of Industry and Commerce andΒ held the position ofΒ Minister of FinanceΒ from 1991 to 1995.Β In 1996,Β Mr. MottleyΒ joinedΒ Credit SuisseΒ New York,Β whereΒ untilΒ recentlyΒ heΒ held the position of Managing Director.
Mr. Mottley is a member of the Leadership Council of Yale University'sΒ SchoolΒ ofΒ ForestryΒ and the Environment. He is also aΒ member of the Asa Wright Beard Foundation, and a former board member of the World Wildlife Fund.Β He also served on a special advisory committee to the President of the Inter-American Development Bank.Β Mr. Mottley representedΒ TrinidadΒ at the Olympic Games in 1964, where he won silver and bronze medals.
Mr. Mottley is currently a Director of theΒ AsaΒ WrightΒ NatureΒ Center.Β In the past five years, Mr. Mottley has been aΒ member of the Chairman's Advisory Board of Credit Suisse IBD.
Mr. MottleyΒ hasΒ noΒ shareΒ interest in the Company.

The Board of Directors of the Company now comprises of Lord Ashcroft, Philip Johnson, Lyndon Guiseppi, Peter Gaze, Philip Osborne, Cheryl Jones, John Searle, Euric Bobb and Wendell Mottley.
