Share Issuance
World Chess plc (LSE: CHSS), a leading chess organisation seeking to promote the mass market appeal of chess globally through the offering of different chess-related activities, announces the issue of 2,867,152 new ordinary shares (the "Shares") in lieu of ?200,000 due to Engiscent PTE LTD, a development partner of the Company. The issue price is ?0.07 per Share.
Application will be made for the Shares to be admitted to the FCA's Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main market for listed securities.
Following the issuance of Shares, the Company has a total of 670,060,653 ordinary shares issued and outstanding. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 670,060,653. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
